The short version: this site doesn't run ads, doesn't sell anything about you, and doesn't follow you around the web. Here is what does happen.

On this site

• Mailing list. If you sign up, your email address goes to MailerLite, the service that sends our emails. It is used for Hazy Motif email and nothing else, and every email has an unsubscribe link. MailerLite's script loads on the page to show the form and may set cookies to make it work.
• Embedded players. The live stream and playlist sections load players from Twitch, YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) and Spotify. Those services may set their own cookies when the player loads or when you press play.
• Live status. To show when the stream is live, the page asks decapi.me (a public Twitch status service) whether the KROZNIAS channel is online. That request carries your browser's normal connection details, like any web request. No account, cookie or personal data from us is sent.
• Hosting. The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes your IP address and basic browser details to deliver the page and keep the service secure.
• Fonts. The typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google when the page opens.
• Email. If you write to us or send a submission, we use what you send to reply and to consider your music. We don't add you to a list because you emailed us.

Links that leave this site

Discord, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Gumroad and DistroKid each have their own privacy policies, and those apply once you are there. The DistroKid link is a referral link: it gives you a discount and supports the community.

Hazy Motif Tools

Hazy Motif Tools is an internal tool that Hazy Motif uses to manage its own YouTube channels. It is not offered to the public, and the only accounts that ever sign in to it are Hazy Motif's own.

• It uses YouTube API Services to read and update the titles, descriptions and tags of videos and channels that Hazy Motif owns.
• It does not access anyone else's Google or YouTube account, and it does not collect information about viewers or subscribers.
• What it reads stays on Hazy Motif's own computer. It is not shared, sold or used for advertising.
• Its use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• Because it uses YouTube API Services, the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy apply. Access can be removed at any time from the Google security settings page.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
