Plain terms for a small community's website. By using hazymotif.com you agree to them. If you don't, that's fine — just don't use the site.
hazymotif.com is the home of Hazy Motif: a music community for all artists — handmade, hybrid and AI — built around learning how to promote yourself. The site links to our music, our Discord, our sample packs and the places you can listen. Everything that is free here stays free.
The music, artwork, writing and the Hazy Motif name and marks on this site belong to Hazy Motif or the artists who made them. Listen, share links and quote short passages all you like. Please don't re-upload, resell or pass the work off as your own.
If you send us music or anything else, it stays yours. Sending it gives us permission to listen to it, reply to you about it and, if you ask for feedback in the Discord, discuss it there. Nothing is released, distributed or published under Hazy Motif without a separate written agreement with you. There is never a fee to submit.
Only send work you have the right to send — no uncleared samples, and no cloned voices or trained likenesses of a real person without their permission.
Sample packs are sold through Gumroad, music is distributed through DistroKid, and the community runs on Discord. When you use those services, their own terms and refund policies apply. The DistroKid link on this site is a referral link: it gives you a discount and supports the community.
Hazy Motif Tools is an internal tool Hazy Motif uses to manage its own channels and social accounts. It is not offered to the public and nobody else can sign in to it. It uses each platform's official API and follows that platform's terms, including the YouTube Terms of Service, the TikTok Terms of Service and Meta's Platform Terms. How it handles information is covered in the privacy page.
The site and everything on it, including production and promotion advice, is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate, but we can't promise results — streams, followers or income — and we aren't liable for losses that come from relying on it, to the extent the law allows.
